Tryouts are open to every player, from those new to club volleyball to those ready to compete higher. Our coaches see and assess every athlete.

A 60-minute, small-group session led by our coaches. We assess skills, athleticism, coachability, and effort.

Tryouts
Rosters are finalized at tryouts, except Rise.
Offer
An offer is a spot on a specific team.
Accept
Accept to secure the spot, sign the commitment email sent to the parent email on the registration, then meet your coach and team at orientation.

What we look for
Missed tryouts?
Evaluations are not required to try out. If travel or another extenuating circumstance keeps her from tryouts, an evaluation can serve as a supplemental tryout, though we recommend the official tryout when possible.
Younger players progress quickly, so Rise holds a second tryout day in the fall.
USA Volleyball sets age groups by birth date, with a new chart each season.

Evaluations show where she fits, and players move every year, in both directions. The price covers the whole season. Pay in installments, or pay in full.

The fine print
A summary of the 2026–27 agreements. The agreement you sign has the full terms.
When a family accepts a spot, the season fee is owed in full, whether or not the player takes part. The $600 deposit is due on acceptance and is non-refundable.
If a player has a season-ending injury before November 29, 2026, the fees she has paid are refunded minus the $600 deposit. A physician’s documentation is required.
An installment that arrives late carries a $25 late fee, plus interest as set out in the agreement.
Players may not play on another USAV or AAU team during the season. School volleyball and private training are fine.
Playing time in tournaments is earned, not guaranteed.
