Can my daughter play school volleyball too?
Yes. DS Elite is designed to run alongside school volleyball, and players are encouraged to do both. Club teams form in June, before school teams, so athletes start the school year connected and confident.
In fall 2026, our practices are Sundays only and optional, and the school season takes precedence.

What if my daughter is new to club volleyball?
Tryouts are open to all players, including those new to club volleyball. Rise is built for new and developing players building fundamentals, and for multi-sport athletes.
New to volleyball altogether? Dripping Springs Sports Club runs beginner programs.
What does it cost?

Communication and conduct
3 questions
How is playing time decided?
Playing time is earned. Skill, attitude, effort, attendance, and coachability all count. Stats are kept at every tournament to ensure equitable playing time, and at least two matches are filmed for breakdown.
Questions about playing time start with your coach, in writing, no sooner than 24 hours after the tournament.
How are coaches trained and supported?
Every coach works inside a system of standards, accountability, and ongoing development. Coaches are evaluated monthly, with check-ins in between. Practice plans are submitted every week and reviewed by Coach T. Training is mandatory for coaches with under three years’ experience, and every coach is referee certified before the season starts.
No coach follows a player or a parent on social media.
How does DS Elite handle bullying?
Bullying is not tolerated. Every allegation is investigated, up to and including removal from the club. No exceptions: not for a starter, not for a captain, not for anyone.

What do team rosters show publicly?
Rosters show an athlete’s first and last name, jersey number, position, and graduation year, and only for athletes who have accepted a spot on a current team.
We do not publish athletes’ schools, heights, birth dates, contact details, parent information, or evaluation scores and notes. We do not publish coaches’ personal phone numbers or email addresses either.
How do I ask to have my daughter removed from the public roster or from a photo?
Email Drew at drew@dselitevolleyball.com. Tell us which athlete, and whether you would like her taken off the public roster, out of a photo, or both.
Photos on this site do not carry players’ names.
Does DS Elite sell or share my mobile number?
No. We do not sell or share your mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Consent to text updates is not a condition of registration, and you can reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe.
