Mia De la Rosa

About Mia

Mia brings a strong passion for volleyball and athlete development to the coaching staff.

Mia has played club volleyball for seven years and has also competed at the high school level for two seasons. Her experience as a player has given her a deep understanding of the game and a passion for helping young athletes build confidence, improve their skills, and develop a love for volleyball. This season marks her second year of coaching, and she is excited to continue sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm with the next generation of players.

As a coach, Mia enjoys helping athletes learn the fundamentals of the game while creating a positive and encouraging environment where players can grow both on and off the court. She believes volleyball teaches valuable life skills such as teamwork, communication, perseverance, and leadership.

Outside of volleyball, Mia is on the path to becoming a veterinarian and has a special love for animals. Fun fact: horses are one of her favorite animals, and she loves spending time around them whenever she can!

Mia is excited to be part of the DS Elite family and looks forward to helping athletes learn, grow, and have a fun and successful season!
